In the anime, Delta invites Garō to retrieve a vessel near the Land of Fire’s border after a brutal massacre in a ruined village, much to Garō’s delight. Encountering Team Konohamaru, Delta taunts Kawaki about returning him to Kara, attacks him, and deflects his weakened strike. Despite appearing stronger, Garō is quickly overpowered when Kawaki activates his Kāma. Kawaki pierces Garō with his right arm and obliterates his upper body with the Kāma’s power, killing the Outer.
